Non-Trucking Liability

Non-Trucking Liability

There is a difference between non-business purposes and business-related purposes. You should always know about this as a policyholder. While hatching funds, pulling a loaded trailer, the policyholders may not use non-trucking liability coverage. The truck is also covered at that time when the insured is not working for an owner and are driving with an empty trailer or no trailer at all. There is also coverage when you use your business-related truck for personal use like going to the grocery stores, going to the bank, or going to the nearby market.

Non-trucking liability coverage always helps when the tragedies happen on-road and physical injuries or damage is caused to a third party that is non-work related. But the commercial policy does not do it. In primary liability insurance, driving without a load, washing the truck, and servicing or fueling are all covered and it is like the cherry on the top.
